| AdminHistory | The University College for the Creative Arts is formed from the merger of six of these schools of art and design. The schools at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Guildford, Maidstone and Rochester were all founded in the second half of the nineteenth-century, though some were founded through individual benefactors and others through government initiative.
It was granted University status as the University for the Creative Arts in 2008
