AdminHistoryAngel Delight is a powdered pudding designed to be whisked with milk into a mousse-like whipped dessert. Launched in 1967, Angel Delight was sold with the Bird's logo under the company General Foods. The product was initially extremely popular during the 1970s. However, following a decline in sales, in 1989 General Foods was assimilated into Kraft to become Kraft General Foods. In 2004 Kraft sold all of its Bird's Brands to Premier Foods. In June 2014 Premier foods entered into a joint venture with Specialty Powders Holdings, the joint venture labelled as Knighton Foods.
