AdminHistoryFRAC Nord-Pas de Calais stands for Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain Nord-Pas de Calais. It is part of a French national network of independent institutions, all called FRAC, created in 1982. Their mission is to build up a collection of contemporary art, present artworks in France and abroad, support the creation of art and raise public awareness of contemporary art. "On the FRAC Track" was a collaboration of nine museums and galleries in Kent, each of which presented an exhibition on a different subject, showing works from the collection of FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais
